Local names of Sasquatch or Bigfoot.
Bipedal locomotion.
Potentially the past  "Gigantopithecus blacki" or related.
A "Great Ape" of North America.

 A real animal seen on rare occasions by select individuals.  Whether they liked it or not, they can consider themselves privileged !
